I everyone!

Today I have a tutorial for you.  I'm going to show you how you can make a brush guard for your brushes with a anti-slip mat / shelf liner / whatever you call it :)

This is a anti-slip mat / shelf liner, that you can get at target.
I've chosen a white shelf liner.
Because I was afraid to have some color transfering to the bristles, if I chose a colored one.

Here is how:

1st - Measure the diameter of your brush handle. Where the handle is thicker.

2nd - Cut the shelf liner to desired size.

3rd - Take a thread and a needle.

4th - And sew it like this:

5th - Here is the final result.

See, how this is quick and easy?

What do you think of this idea?
Hope you give this a try :)

Much Love,

Homemade Brush Cleaner

Hello! I just finished making a brush cleaner. I used Enkore's recipe from EnkoreMakeup, because I absolutely love this formula this is my second time making his brush cleaner.
.pic from desiretoinspire.

If you want to try, here is the recipe:
-Destiled water (1cup)
-Rubbing Alcohol (1/4 cup)
-Dishwashing Soap (1/2 Tablespoon)
-Shampoo (1/2 Tablespoon)
-Liquid leave in conditioner (1 Tablespoon)

How to make it: Just mix all the ingredients in a big container and then stir very gently, so it doesn't create foam. After that just put it in a spray bottle.
How to use it: To use it just spray it over your brushes whenever you use them and then sweep it on a washcloath.

This is just a spot cleaner and you don't need to rinse it off.

Hope you give this a try, because it is really really worth it :)
